Biography: Born to Howard and Maria Stark onn May 29th 1970. Tony's early life was often dominated by the absence of his father and Tony was highly annoyed by Howards constant talk about Captain America. From an early age he quickly stole the spotlight with his brilliant and unique mind. At 21 years old Tony became the new CEO of Stark Industries after an old frines Obadiah Stane. Tony created smarter weaponsadvanced robotics and satellite targeting. During a business trip, Tony's covoy is attacked by terrorist and his own company's bomb lands near him and explodes. The bkask caurses him to be consciousness and embeds several pieces of shrapnel in his chest and a fragment is dangerously close to his heart. Tony wakes up and is hooked up to a car battery, the electromagnet keeps theshrapnel from entering his heart and killing him. The terrorist group, Ten Rings ordered Tony and his fellow captive Dr. Yinsen to build a Jerichi missile but Tony and Yinsen secretly build a strong power armor (Mark I) fueled by a miniature 'arc reactor'. When Tony and Yinsen are escaping Yinsen is killed ensuring Tony's escape. Tony is found, he creates new armor suits, updated his arc reactor, Tony becomes Iron Man. Tony has fought the Iron Monger (Stane), Justin Hammer, Whiplash(Ivan Vanko), Loki, The Mandarin and Aldrich Killian. Tony's best friend Colonel James Rhodes who became War Marchine then later called Iron Patriot. Tony has worked alongside The Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. When Tony sees Pepper worried about their future, he ordered J.A.R.V.I.S. to destroy all his armor/tech. Tony had the shrapnel out that was near his heart and then returns to thr ruins of his Malibu home and threw his obsolete arc reacher into the ocean because he finally understands that Iron Man is the man who 'built' the armor not the armor that wears the man.
